Access to Lake Braies

Traveling by car?

Arrival: To get to the Braies Valley, follow the A22 Brennero/Brenner toll highway to the Bressanone/Brixen/Vahrn (Val Pusteria/Pustertal) exit. From there, continue on the state road (SS49-E66) past Brunico/Bruneck until you reach the entrance to Valle di Braies/Pragser Tal. There you change to the provincial road 47, which is about 60 km from the Brixen/Pustertal highway exit.

You can also reach Lake Braies via Lienz in East Tyrol (Austria) by crossing the Austrian-Italian border on the state road (B100-E66).
